You have found your wedding venue, but where will guests travelling from further away sleep? And how will they reach their accommodation after the evening reception? Planning the venue, transfers and overnight stays together makes things easier for the whole family.

In Morville-le-Héron in the Andelle valley, Les Gîtes de Flaubert accommodate up to 49 guests in five cottages and 17 bedrooms. Bring your loved ones together for the weekend, choose a reception venue nearby and arrange their return journeys with a driver.

There are three complementary bookings to coordinate: the reception venue, the shuttle for agreed journeys and the cottages for spending time together and sleeping.

Vascœuil, Ry and Héronchelles have municipal halls to consider for your plans. These three suggestions link to official information and venue managers. They do not imply commercial partnerships with the municipalities.

Assess capacity against your planned tables, dance floor, buffet and circulation space. At Ry, having two halls does not automatically mean a single reception capacity of 130 guests.

Before choosing a date, ask the municipality about wedding hire conditions, music hours, kitchen facilities and key collection. Have the transport provider confirm the precise venue address and route as well.

Reception capacity and overnight sleeping capacity are separate requirements. You can invite more people to the reception and book the cottages for those staying overnight, within the available sleeping places.

A chauffeur shuttle between the reception and cottages

Arranging return journeys before the wedding helps everyone know where to meet and, where the plan allows, leave their car at the accommodation.

A service tailored to your evening

The arrangement presented on our wedding accommodation page describes a Mercedes V-Class van with a driver, indicative hours from 8 or 9 pm to 4 am and repeated journeys within an advertised 15 km radius of the cottages. The indicative price shown is €390–450 including tax for the evening. These details are published on the Les Gîtes de Flaubert page; they are not a confirmed quotation from the transport operator.

The operator must confirm the times, route, seats per journey, children’s requirements, possible supplements and availability in its quotation. The transport is a separate paid service and is not included in cottage rental.

Plan several departures to suit different guests

Families with young children may return earlier than the last dancers. Agree suitable departure slots with the driver and share them with the guests concerned. The number of vehicles and journeys depends on your group and chosen route: transport for all 49 people at once is not automatically provided.

The cottages have equipped kitchens and living spaces for time together around the reception. Independent houses also provide separate places to rest.

A place for the couple at Le Gîte d’Emma

Le Gîte d’Emma can accommodate the couple during their stay. Its private hot tub offers a relaxing pause during the weekend. Emma is part of Les Dépendances and of the estate’s total capacity; its sleeping places are not additional to the 49 advertised.

Think beyond the wedding evening

Before the reception: guests arrive at the agreed check-in times. Share each person’s cottage, sleeping arrangements and travel information in advance.

After the evening: guests booked on the shuttle return according to the reserved journeys. One group coordinator can keep in touch with the driver.

The next morning: breakfast or brunch gives everyone more time together. Discuss participant numbers, spaces used and any caterer with Aurélia and Christophe, respecting the booking times and estate rules.

Frequently asked questions

Must we book the whole estate for a wedding?

You can book La Cour, Les Dépendances or the entire estate according to overnight numbers and availability. Tell us how many bedrooms you would like.

Is the reception hall at Les Gîtes de Flaubert?

No. The venues listed here are separate locations booked directly with their managers. The cottages provide overnight accommodation and the parts of your stay agreed with the owners.

Does the shuttle automatically serve every venue?

No. Each route must be confirmed with ADDA. A nearby town does not guarantee that a particular address falls within the service area or quoted package.

Can accommodation and shuttle transport be booked together?

The bookings are separate. Coordinate availability of the venue, accommodation and transport before finalising your plans.
