Looking for a short break with countryside, historic places and room to spend time together? Les Gîtes de Flaubert welcome couples, families, friends and groups to Morville-le-Héron in the Andelle valley, near Rouen.
Choose a cottage or a combination of cottages, then build a relaxed programme around your group. A Normandy weekend can include a city visit, a woodland walk and an evening sharing a meal at your accommodation.
Normandy offers varied landscapes and heritage. From the estate, explore the surrounding villages and countryside, then return to welcoming living spaces after sightseeing or a walk.
Leave some unscheduled time: a break does not have to be a list of places to tick off. Families and groups can enjoy different activities during the day and meet again in the evening.
Our accommodation ranges from a smaller cottage for a couple to combinations for larger groups. Across the five cottages, the estate offers up to 49 sleeping places in 17 bedrooms.
Depending on the cottages booked, leisure equipment includes pool tables, Bonzini table football, pétanque, terraces and outdoor spaces. Kitchens and living areas let you prepare meals and spend time together.
The private hot tub is in Le Gîte d’Emma only. Access depends on booking Emma, either individually or within a configuration that includes it. The estate’s 49 sleeping places do not guarantee a single dining room for 49 guests; agree meal arrangements for your group before booking.
Spring flowers, autumn colours and seasonal events give each visit a different character. Check opening times, market days and any reservations before travelling.
The estate is in Morville-le-Héron. As a broad guide, the French page describes around 25 minutes from Rouen and under two hours from Paris by car. These are indicative journey times, dependent on your starting point, route and traffic; confirm your own itinerary before departure.
For a group arriving separately, share the address, agreed check-in time and cottage allocation in advance.
Whether you are planning a family reunion, birthday, friends’ weekend or quieter break, tell Aurélia and Christophe your dates, number of guests and bedroom requirements. They will help you choose the available accommodation that fits your plans.
